Thursday 12/5 (Need 2 shifts) 3:30 to 6:30 OR 6:30 to 9:30. Please let me know which you might be available for or if you are around for both. This is the most labor intensive night and the night that we use the cafeteria and kitchen facilities to serve baked ziti to all the players and coaches after every game. The first game starts at 3, we will unload the food from Roy’s Suburban around 3:45 and be set up and ready to serve around 4:15. Will need about 4 guys to work the serving line, one to take tickets, one to hand out water and a few to clean up and get ready for the next game. After the 3 o’clock game the next 3 are 4:30, 6:00 and Jesuit plays Irving MacArthur at 7:30. We should be out of there between 9 and 9:30 and we are usually able to also watch the Cowboys in between (they play Chicago at 7:20). There are several other tasks we can talk about that night but Thursday is always a great night to mix and mingle with the Teams and coaches and make them feel welcome.
Friday 12/6 (Need 2 shifts) 3:30 to 6:30 OR 6:30 to 9:30. Let me know what might work for you. Friday night is always Pizza Night. After every game we serve 20 pizza’s – 10 for each team – in a conference room on the 2nd floor. Basic tasks are rationing out the pizza to make sure both teams get fed, monitoring deliveries, cleanup and disposal of boxes, replenishing bottled water, etc..Again, should be done by 9 or 9:30.
Saturday 12/7 **Note time changes** ( Need 2 shifts) **9:30 to 12 OR 12 to 3:30. We serve Chick-Fil-A upstairs so pretty much the same setup as Friday night. However we also need help handing out the trophies and all-tournament team medals after each of the games, especially the Championship game. Please note that parking is a little crazy on Saturday because in addition to the Tournament Jesuit has their annual Holiday Bazaar going on so get there a few minutes early if you can.
